Global Positioning System (GPS) Location for Children, Young

Adults, and the Elderly

Children have a natural urge to explore, but parents have a universal responsibility to know that they are safe. SafetyCare’s “Locator-for-Children” may finally satisfy both: Locators can be in the form of a cell phone, or a small, light device that can be carried by a child. Signals sent to global positioning satellites can tell where your child is within a few feet, and using a web-browser you can actually zoom right down to the street address. 

“Geo Fence” Tracking Capabilities 

SafetyCare’s “Geo Fence” tracking abilities use GPS technology to create an invisible fence -- an especially attractive feature because it defines an area of freedom . Units, some as small as a wrist-watch, may be attached to a vehicle, provided to a child, or an elderly person. The tracking device sends an alarm to the SafetyCare Family Center if the person carrying the device goes beyond the agreed border. For a child, a Geo Fence could consist of a safe neighborhood region including their school; for a teenager learning to drive, it might include the town limits. For an Alzheimer’s sufferer who may leave the home and become disoriented, it offers immediate and compassionate tracking. Also great for pets.
